My Story
Hello, I am Dr. DicQie Fuller and this is my story…
Throughout my years of experience as a health practitioner, I have understood that
there are no "absolute answers" to the questions of how to heal and balance the body. There are many
modalities touting solutions, but how do we know which ones are the right choices for our health? My
interest in holistic health care was not just to look for answers for myself or for my clients, but to
save the life of one of my children.
As a child, my daughter Coleen underwent various surgeries for a rare disease that
effected several of her major organs. Unsatisfied with the results of these traditional procedures, I
began searching deeper into holistic health care. During the frustrating trip towards healing Coleen's
body, I was told she would soon die from the complications of this disease. Now I knew I could not slow
my pace in trying to find what would make a lasting change for her condition.
At the start of my search, I became aware of a process that cleanses and irrigates the
colon. Extremely interested and hopeful, I became a certified colon therapist. Through the procedure
known as colonics, I was able to actually witness the effect this disease had on my daughter's lower
digestive tract. This defection was not allowing Coleen to efficiently digest, absorb, transport,
utilize, and eliminate the food she ingested. This discovery led me to the next phase of my journey.
I needed to find what would aid in digestion at the time Coleen was ingesting her food.
In the early part of 1986 I found exactly what I had been desperately searching for. I
learned about Dr. Edward Howell and his pioneering work with plant enzymes. After thoroughly researching
the information available on plant enzymes, I began to incorporate them into Coleen's protocol. The
ingestion of plant enzymes with the food she ate allowed digestion to begin in the upper part of the
stomach. This allowed for more complete and efficient digestion and absorption of nutrients. Coleen
began experiencing rapid and lasting results.
That was over 20 years ago when Coleen was diagnosed and I am very happy to report that
she is indeed still alive and, now, healthy! Since that time I have made it my life's work to teach
nutrition and enzyme replenishment to other health professionals. I have also spent a great deal of
time researching enzyme formulations that effectively address health problems stemming from the improper
digestion of food.
Out of all of the modalities offering non-traditional therapies, enzyme therapy has made
the most sense and produced the most results. To quote Dr. Edward Howell, "Life could not exist without
enzymes. What this means is that our breathing, sleeping, eating, working, and even thinking are enzyme
dependent". Vitamins, minerals, and hormones require enzymes in order to do their work properly. The
one thing we must be able to do on a daily basis is digest, absorb, transport, and eliminate the food we
ingest.
Over the years I have been privileged to see the positive results many clients have
experienced by using enzyme therapies. My desire is to continue my research, provide the valuable enzyme
information to other health professionals and the public, and to assist in enabling them to bring health
and balance into their lives.
